The Philippines once again sent a delegate to the 3rd APEC-WW held in New Delhi, India on Nov. 2-3, 2006. Some details of the country report are as follows:
TITLE: Wind Loads and the Wind Environment in the Philippines: Previous Reports, Identified Improvements, Recent Developments, and Integration in to the APEC-WW

ABSTRACT: Earlier papers, presentations, research, and reports related to wind loading and/or wind environmental issues in the Philippines are first summarized. A recent development related to dynamic wind loading of lattice towers is presented. Finally, integration of identified improvement needs and recent developments in to the framework of the recent APEC-WW meetings, or workshops on the harmonization of wind loading and wind environmental specifications in Asia Pacific economies is offered.
